Traditional aluminium insect screen is designed for casement, sliding or louvred windows and doors. This is the most common and traditional aluminium insect screen on the market as it can be open by either swinging or sliding. It can be customised according to the design and dimension of the customer’s doors and windows.
The size of the rail is 1.2cm and the insect screen is made up of 0.9mm of aluminium. It is very durable, economical, and can be installed easily even without an iron grill.
Besides, fibreglass netting will be added to the gap between the screens to reduce the chances of insects entering through them. To be more practical, we will install a handle for customers to open and close the insect screen. It is also removable for cleaning purposes.

Features of Traditional Aluminium Insect Screen
Sliding Type
The Sliding Insect screen will be a good choice for customers that have limited space at home. It is suitable for all types of windows and doors, especially for non-iron grill windows and single-pane pivot windows. It can withstand strong winds and also prevent children from climbing onto the windows. The thickness of the wire mesh can be customised according to the needs of the customer.
Swing Type
Hinged Screen door with optional self-closing hinges can be made to fit most doorways both internally or externally. The door is held closed by a strong magnetic catch, and covers with fiberglass mesh/aluminium mesh.

Fibreglass Mesh
Fibreglass mesh is sometimes referred to as nylon mesh. It is commonly used in the market as it doesn’t corrode, rust or stain. Compared to the price, this type of mesh is more economical. However, it stretches and tears more easily when compared with other materials.

Aluminium Mesh
Aluminium mesh is also another popular choice of insect mesh material. It can withstand extreme weather and is more durable compared to fibreglass. However, it can dent and crease over time.

Polyester Mesh (Pet Mesh)
Polyester mesh is also known as pet mesh, and it is made from vinyl-coated polyester. The surface is tough with small mesh holes to protect the mesh from pet scratches and damage.

Stainless Steel Mesh (0.18mm, 0.3mm)
